I literally stopped the player when I saw Groff's wig. I'M DYING.
This looks amazing. Totally something my mother would want to see considering this was her era.

Personally, I think there's too little Emile Hirsch in the trailer.
I agree. The world needs more muddy Emile Hirsch WORD.

I have yet to see any threads for this. And even though somebody here is bound to know I'm posting this anyways. Who's excited to see Jonathan Groff in Taking Woodstock?

Another mini article from Focus Films: http://filminfocus.com/editorblog/_em_taking_woodstock__em___broadway_un_bound/viewTaking Woodstock, Broadway Un-BoundBy Peter Bowen Ang Lee's new film Taking Woodstock, a tale about one man’s unexpected place in the summer of love, is not just about a great music concert; it is also about Broadway. As Adam Hetrick points out in his article in Playbill, the film bears an impressive theater pedigree with “Tony nominees Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakening) and Kevin Chamberlin (The Ritz, Seussical), Tony Award winners Dan Fogler (Spelling Bee) and Liev Schreiber (Talk Radio), Olivier Award winners Henry Goodman (Tartuffe, The Producers) and Imelda Staunton (Entertaining Mr. Sloane, The Corn Is Green), as well as Skylar Astin (Spring Awakening), Paul Dano (Things We Want), Kelli Garner (Dog Sees God); Mamie Gummer (Dangerous Liaisons, Uncle Vanya), Stephen Kunken (Frost/Nixon, Rock 'n' Roll, Our House), Richard Thomas (A Naked Girl on the Appian Way) and more.

The other night I was at a seder, and my cousin-in-law works at Focus Films and is actually working on Taking Woodstock! He's not really involved right now, but he said he will be more once it gets closer to the release. Unfortunately, he said he doesn't work as much with the cast as with the director... I was in awe the minute I found out.

Blurb about the film in Black Book Magazine's "Yes We Cannes: The 11 Most Exciting Movies at This Year’s Fest": http://www.blackbookmag.com/article/yes-we-cannes-the-11-most-exciting-movies-at-this-years-fest/7328Taking Woodstock by Ang Lee. Of course the director who turned Jewel into a cowgirl, Kevin Kline into a swinger, Eric Bana into a monster, and Jake Gyllenhaal into a pederast would eventually set his sights on Woodstock. Starring an incredible cast that includes Demetri Martin, Emile Hirsch, Live Schreiber, and Jonathan Groff, audiences surely won’t be able to quit it.

Everyone is! How could you not be excited for his first legitimate acting role? This entire cast is unreal. From supporting to lead.
