I saw this tonight.

1. I got this ridiculous smile on my face upon seeing Groff that stayed most of the movie.
2. LOVED Imelda Stauton and Liev Schrieber
3. How did I not know Dan Fogler was in this too?

I enjoyed it a lot. There were a couple slow moments, but I was happy with it.

I can't wait to see this! Ang Lee is brilliant. On a different note, did Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character have a lot of screen time? Love me some JDM. lol

I just saw it yesterday with my best friend and my mom and it was incredible!!! for the occasion, my friend and I dressed up as hippies. we got some weird looks but it was fun Smiley the movie was slow in the very beginning because they needed to set the story but once Groff came it really picked up speed and was absolutely amazing! It was almost scary how much Jonathan looked like Micheal Lang at certain points and angles and his costumes were identical to the outfits Micheal wore when he was looking at the site for woodstock (I only know that because I was watching a documentary on woodstock and they showed some cool footage). Halfway through the movie, my mom leaned over to me and said: "What did you say his name was? Jonathan Groff?" and after I nodded, she said "He's frickin' cute!!" She continued to gush about him with me and my friend after the movie.
I wish Skylar had more screen time, he was so good! and his looked very handsome in his suit Smiley

Officially seeing this.  My college is showing this at the theater they own, and we all got free tickets, so Friday night at 11!  Can't wait!  I think we're dressing as hippies for the occasion, too, since our dorm has been officially given the name the Huber Hippies (we're Huber Hall)!!!

I enjoyed the movie- Groff was fantastic! I am so proud of him. And seeing him in that ridiculous wig getting out of a helicopter, riding a horse, and riding a motorcycle? Doesn't get any better than that. And I also feel the need to point out that he was billed fourth in the opening credits, before Eugene Levy and Imelda Staunton. That's our boy! Also awesome to see Skylar! I barely recognized him at first, he was so funny.
But yeah, regarding the movie as a whole, the first half or so was EXCELLENT IMO, really funny and well done. Then I felt like the movie lost direction...without giving too much away, the build-up to Woodstock and the preparations were gone over in awesome detail, and then when the festival actually started they seemed to glaze over the main event and start focusing on other random things, like a too-long acid trip sequence. But I still enjoyed it overall- especially Groff. Smiley

I don't need a life that's normal, that's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay.
