Stage seats go on sale to the public on February 23rd.  Manney, we just kind of...well...huh.  They didn't say anything I didn't know already.  Did you email them to let them know you couldn't make it?  We got an info packet about the "junk" we can earn (which actually was the most pathetic list of junk I've seen out of any city, to be honest) and what you have to do to earn it, and info about the show and things like that.  They could probably email you a PDF file of it if you ask.  They said stuff like when you pass out fliers tell people about the show and be honest (aka don't skip over the nudity and stuff like that) and to ask permission to do whatever you're doing.

250 points - the opportunity to pay SA for stage seats (oh joy)
500 points - the opportunity to pay SA for more stage seats (just what I always wanted!)
750 points - Autographed SA poster and backstage tour of the Fox Theatre (yay!  something I don't have to pay for!)
1000 points - One pair of tickets to Opening Night and invitation to the opening night cast party (NOW we're talking)
2000 points - One free pair of On-stage seats and an invitation to a special Guilty Ones-only meet and greet with the cast (and this one had an asterisk next to it saying for select performances only)

Not that I'm complaining...but would it kill them to throw in some free merch, seeing as only 15 people were at the meeting, and we'll be advertising their show in the dead of winter?  (I really just want a free hat, lol).  The Austin Guilty Ones had a much better junk list than us.  I kind of wish I hadn't seen it.  Again, not complaing, just pointing stuff out.  Like this:  The email said "The Junk you can earn also includes but is not limited to, autographed posters, backstage tour, meet and greet with the cast, and MUCH MORE!!!"  I guess MUCH MORE!!! = one thing (free tickets).  Which, yeah, free tickets is cool.  But I want free merch....I can never afford to buy stuff like shirts, hoodies, or hats.  I already have my tickets to the show.

I feel like I'm ranting.  I'm not trying to.  :\  And I do plan on doing the street team despite the lack of awesome free stuff, because hey, it's the only way I'll get a poster.  And it'll be fun.

Maybe if I ask they'll give me a hat.

I haven't heard from Rachel for 2 weeks...I emailed her with my points stuff and never heard back.  I just sent her another email yesterday in case she somehow missed the other one, but I haven't heard anything yet.

Ok, So I am a huge fan of SA and even got up at 3a in NYC to get rush tickets for front row.  I got spit on by the actors! YES! ha.

So, SA is coming to ATL, no new news there.  But I REALLY want stage seating.  I forgot all TGO and such.  They said that you have to have points and such to get tickets for stage or wait until Feb when they will sell the rest of them.  My fear is that there will not be any stage seating left or I would have to scalp and pay 300 a ticket.

Is it too late to get points and such to get tickets?

Thanks!

This board isn't affiliated with the street teams, so we can't tell you anything official about points and stage seating, etc.

According to MusicalAstronaut (see above), "Stage seats go on sale to the public on February 23rd."

Rachel said we can't get the stage seats yet, but she's keeping a list of people who want them.  I got an email from her a few days ago.  I was starting to worry that no one had heard from her, haha.  And to chdeiden, you can still join TGO.  Go become a fan of TGO Atlanta on facebook and they can give you the info you need.

They've salted the hell out of campus so most of the ice here is gone.  Now the problem is the inch-deep layer of salt on all of the steps, lol.  I wonder what sort of trivia we're going to have at the meeting.  If it's nitpicky stuff about the show I'm not going to know any of it...I still don't think it's worth $40 to buy the coffee table book for this show, especially because it's so much smaller than the books for other shows.  And I can't exactly fork over 40 bucks.  Sad

Just curious, do people have their tickets for this show yet?  I mean, have y'all already paid for the tickets on ticketmaster or whatever?  I'm trying to decide if I should wait it out until stage seats become available, or if they'll be available at all to the public.

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion Cheesy

I already have my tickets, but not the stage seats.  They haven't sold us the stage seats yet.  Does that help?

Okeedokee.  Who has tickets?  What day are you going?  Where are you sitting?

I have tickets for the Sunday evening show, in the Loge.  Cheesy
And I'm ushering for the Thursday show, which should be pretty fun.  I don't think I'll get to be a stage usher though, because I'm sure they'll give that job to one of the paid ushers.  Sad

Sweet, I'll be on stage on Friday in CC7.  Are you going to the cast party?  If you are you'll have to tell me how you liked that seat!

My sister has been begging me to come visit her in Atlanta (and so has somebody else I know... ;-) ), and I'm trying to swing it so that the weekend I go coincides with this. Does this make me a bad person? Do I care?
