http://backstagegeorgia.blogspot.com/2010/02/tony-award-winning-spring-awakening.html

On Tuesday, February 23, a limited number of on-stage seats will be made available for every performance of SPRING AWAKENING, playing the The Fabulous Fox Theatre from March 9-14, 2010. These seats offer theatergoers an exciting and unique way to experience the performance with the action of the show taking place all around them. On-stage seats are $25 and will be available for purchase in-person only at The Fox Theatre Box Office, located at 660 Peachtree Street in Midtown. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

For the safety of the patrons and the performers, ticket buyers will be asked to adhere to the on-stage seating procedures that will be provided to them at the time of purchase.

I am sitting onstage on Friday night! I have no idea which seat, because my friend who lives in Atlanta bought me the ticket since you have to go in-person (which, for the record, is the most frustrating policy on earth).

I am SO EXCITED! I saw the show twice on Broadway, but never from onstage. I've been wanting to do this since December 2006. FINALLY.

We're in orchestra Saturday night.
So excited!

Hey there! I just got back from seeing it and thought I'd throw in my two cents- it was amazing. Taylor was incredible as Moritz and brought me to tears more than once. Lucas went on as Melchior and did an awesome job. Robi was on for the first time as Hanschen, and I thought he did a really wonderful job.  His 'My Junk' had everyone cracking up, and his Vineyard scene was hilarious.  I saw about 15 people walk out, and most of them were older couples.

We went to stagedoor after and met them, and all of them were nothing but sweet and so down-to-earth. We met Andy as he was walking back to the hotel. My mom actually stopped him and recognized him first, and he was happy to get a picture with us. We then went to the actual stagedoor and met Steffi D, Ben, Krystina, Lucas, ShiShi, Anthony Lee, and Taylor. Anthony Lee said he liked my peace ring and told us to stay warm (and rubbed our backs, squee!).  Lucas seemed kind of rushed, but he was still really kind.  I actually asked Taylor for a kiss on the cheek in the picture, and he said, "Always!" He seemed really shy, but that kiss made me so happy, haha Smiley

The pictures aren't wanting to post right now, for some reason. I have pictures with all the other people mentioned above (including the kiss, yay!). If you want to see any of those, post below this, and I'll be happy to post them  or message them to you :]

I have to say, I loved Justin.  Holy crap.  His voice is amazing!  I thought his Touch Me solo (when he was on for Georg) was the best I've heard, and he was also my favorite Melchior.  Lucas was a close second, singing-wise.  I thought Matt was the best actor out of the 3 but not the best singer (Justin wins that one).  And yes, I also thought Chase was great.  Smiley

I saw the show this weekend. Justin clearly has the biggest acting chops of all the current Melchior casting including Jake ...When you throw in his vocals there is no comparison Justin wins "best in show" hands down!!!

I don't have a full review, but I thought Krystina was excellent as Marta. Her DIKW was so pretty, with little flourishes that made it fresh for me but not in a distracting way. She really has a gorgeous voice. Also, it was so nice to have a Melchior (elf boy Justin Three Names) that can both sing and act (it's been a while). Atlanta was a great audience, and the show had so much energy. I'm pretty glad that this was my last time seeing the tour, and that I saw it from the orchestra instead of on stage. MWBMR didn't totally bore me for once. Justin and Taylor had great chemistry. I still really love Taylor's Moritz, and his voice sounded much stronger than when I saw him in CT. The show was so good that I was totally absorbed and I only noticed Gabby like once during the entire show.

I only saw Gabby once (after the show) all week.  And I saw the show a few times so I can give my best attempt at reviews...but not now...lab reports need writing.  So look for them some time this week!
