Review time!!!

Before the show, we told Mona about the Britney Spears rumour, which was funny. She's very sweet. We also may have touched the Adult Man hat (...it was sitting right in front of us!)
It's velvet-y.

ACT ONE

Mama Who Bore Me
We were sitting on in LB6 and LB7, so we were pretty much sandwiched between the drums and the strings (with Mona sitting next to me and no Boy swing because they were all on tonight). Basically we couldn't really hear Charlotte, but from what we could tell, she belted it a little more than she did last week, which was nice.
The Stork scene was same as usual - we were kind of just looking around at all the swings in costume. Chris!Otto had little BW-Georg curls on his head, which was adorable. And Muscato!Georg had funny little red glasses.

MWBMR
Lucy's stomps were awesome. Again, we couldn't hear it too much - the drums were LOUD (they made me jump!). Awesome, though.

Latin Class/ATK
Ben liked Muscato's latin, for whatever reason.
Anuerin sounded as good as ever. It was fine, you know.

BOL
Both Chris!Otto and Muscato!Georg were great with their reactions to Melchior's little comments.
Bitch was fantastic. Chris sang to us a little bit, which was awesome. Harry was rocking out on his chair, Richard's 'Bobby Maler' line was hilarious.

My Junk
Evelyn changed a couple of things up a bit, which was really great.
Best thing about MJ was Gemma riffing on the line 'more like your ghost'. Awesome (although apparently she's going to get in trouble for it).
Sian and Muscato were hilarious together - best pairing ever.
Lucy was singing to Ben for, like, half the song (although I missed it completely). Richard!Hanschen was fine - I really liked his solo.

Touch Me
Basically - BEST TOUCH ME EVER.
Lucy carries on with the choreography behind the bleechers and then stopped right behind us to sign her harmonies. They were AMAZING. Her voice is FANTASTIC. OH MY GOD. SHe also tapped Ben on the shoulder a little Smiley We also heard a little bit of Muscato's harmonies, which were very pretty.
Chris' Otto solo was really, really pretty (maybe my favourite out of his Otto, Georg and Ernst solos?). And Muscato's solo. OH GOD. IT WAS AMAZING. His riffs were wonderful and suprising and wonderful. Just. YES. Basically, we're now planning to go see his Georg on his actual planned Georg dates.
Plus, we heard Charlotte's harmonies a little, which were really nice.
So yes. The AMAZING TM made up for not being able to hear MWBM/MWBMR properly. SO GOOD.

WOYB
It was fine. The violins sounded really, really nice behind us.

Moritz Passed/TDIKW
Anuerin and Iwan's hug was kind of awesome - according to Ben, they looked like a couple and it was hot, hee.
Again, Evelyn changed up a few bits. Hayley and Lucy were fantastic as always in TDIKW, plus the boys' harmonies were really pretty.

The Beating Scene
Angrier than last week, which I liked. A little bit of laughter, which was annoying.

ATTWK
Nice - the boys sounded really good. We got to hear Richard's harmonies a bit, which was nice. I love Iwan. Ben loves Harry. Same old same old.

MBN/Hayloft
MBN was pretty as always. The boys sounded good. Hayloft was fine - there were some long, dramatic pauses though. At one point, I thought Anuerin might have forgotten his line.

I Believe
Mona's harmonies were FANTASTIC here - pretty much made us very excited for her Wendla. We're pretty sure it'll be awesome.

ACT TWO

TGO
Mona's harmonies were really nice again. We were surrounded by cast members, which was awesome. Harry's harmonies were great. So were Chris' and Hayley's and... basically it was really nice.

DDS/BW
The strings were really, really amazing here. Couldn't really hear BW as much as possible. Not a good angle to watch these songs/scenes from. But really nice anyway. Both of them really rocked out like the little rockstars that they are.

LB
Mona's harmonies were, again, really fantastic. I think we're turning into Mona fangirls.
Being able to see AM!Richard after his little breakdown was fantastic - even with his back turned, he kept his character up. I'm pretty sure he was crying up until right at the end of the song, when he quickly composed himself for the TF scene. AMAZING. We love AM!Richard!!!
Again, the strings were really nice.

TF
Lucy gave us a ton of little looks, she winked at us and then during one set of 'blahs' she stuck her tongue out at us! Hah! We love Lucy so much.
All the swing boys did their solos well - I liked that all three of them were standing up there being awesome.
Anuerin did his usual awesome leanback and crawl down the stairs - the woman he looked at looked quite scared, which was hilarious. And his rocking out on the chair was ridiculous - so great.
Mona leant right over me at one point, which was cool.
It was basically really, really good tonight (as it is, every night!)

Vineyard/WOYBR
Richard was very funny - his Hanschen is much more cold and seductive than Jamie's Hanschen (Jamie!Hanschen is much sweeter, I think). His 'skim of the cream' line was really great. Plus, the kiss was really hot (hottest kiss ever, according to Ben, but I still think the Jamie/Chris kiss was better). So it was good.

The Doctor/Whispering
AM!Richard's Big Gay Doctor gets more hilarious every time. He now does a little chicken wing motion as well. Fantastic.
Charlotte's Wendla was more angry than before and Sian's slap seemed even harder than before - really, really good.
Whispering was good, as always. It might be both mine and Ben's favourite part of Charlotte's Wendla.
Also, when Sian went of stage at the end of this, Sian gave us a little smile in

The Reformatory Scene
Ok, the Swing boys? ROCK THIS SCENE.
Maybe my favourite part of the scene (or maybe the whole show) was that Richard used a Scottish accent the whole time. Apparently, he didn't tell any of the cast that he was going to be doing it. HILARIOUS. We pretty much were laughing the entire way through. Really hilarious.

TYK
Really nice, as always. The drums seemed even more fantastic than usual, because we were so near to them.

SOPS
Hayley sung to us a little, as did Harry. Really, really nice.

Then, we got a TF reprise!!! Ben and I knew this was coming, because during the interval, Nigel the conductor told the strings (who were sitting behind us) that they would. Which was fantastic.
As AM!Richard was leaving after the third round of applause, he picked up his stick, looked at us and told us not to go anywhere. In a really giddy, little voice. I LOVE THAT MAN.
During the reprise, Anuerin climbed up his usual side and stood on one of the hand grips and really rocked out. Iwan ran up onto the chair on the other side and rocked out a little bit, which was cool (I was wondering what he would do).
So yeah, the reprise was really, really awesome.

Also, Anuerin had his hair cut Grin

So I'm still confused about which swings sit where and which roles they cover.

Mona and Jamie sit stage left and Gemma and Richard sit stage right but I'm pretty sure they often alternate so Chris and Natalie can be on.

And I'm pretty sure Richard covers all roles except Melchior and Mona covers all roles except Ilse. Not too sure about the others, although they probs cover all the smaller roles and each have on of the main roles to cover.

I have a feeling (but don't quote me on this!) that Richard is first cover Moritz and Jamie is first cover Melchior, Mona is first cover Wendla and Gemma is first cover Ilse and Chris and Natalie are first covers for the rest of the roles (ie. if a cast member calls out sick). That could be completely wrong, though.

But yeah, as for who covers who, you got it. Although I don't think Jamie covers Moritz - his voice certainly wouldn't suit Moritz at all (plus, has anyone ever covered both Moritz and Melchior?)
Maybe Mona covers Ilse as well? I have no idea.

Lucas Wells (of the tour) covers Melchior and Moritz, but no one did on Broadway. So it is possible. It just seems rather weird to me that they would have three male covers, and only one would cover Moritz, a major role in the show.

Well, on Broadway BCJ and Andrew covered Moritz so maybe one of the other boys covers Moritz? Or it might just be Chris who is 2nd cover Moritz.

EDIT: Is Natalie def a cover for Wendla? I can't really picture her as Wendla!

I think that is wright...i think it is this, from what i have been told/what i have worked out..

WENDLA... Mona
ILSE... Gemma
ANNA... Gemma
MARTHA... Natalie
THEA... Natalie

MELCHIOR... Jaime
MORITZ... Richard
GEORG... Jaime
OTTO... Chris
HANSCHEN... Richard
ERNST... Chris

Obv that is only first covers, but i am nearly 100% sure on all of them...

Chris covers all the roles EXCEPT Moritz (I think that's what he said)
