He didn't sound perfect vocally, but I still really enjoyed it. Honestly though, I'd enjoy anything he sang beause he's so damn cute.
I could see him as Ernst, actually.

Perhaps UO: While Lea Michele has a very powerful voice that can hit almost any note, I often find it whiny. Especially when she sings pop songs on Glee.

Definitely unpopular with me. I am in love with Lea's voice (and Lea herself).

^Me too. I almost slapped my friend when she told me that she thought that Lea was a show off whenever she sang on Glee. (Which by the way, made no sense to me. She's a show off because she sings amazing?)

Well, to be fair, she is oversinging sometimes in songs and I think that's what your friend means.  Calm the fuck down.  Trust me, she's not the only one who says that.  But her character is a show-offy kind of person so it makes sense.

I see what you're saying but I didn't explain it right. She meant it like she showed off because she sang so much in the show but that's not under her control; she's told what to sing, she rocks it, and she's performing as her character.

It's not beyond the realm of possibility that there's a performance clause in her contract, actually. Number of songs per season or some such.

I doubt that she does have one, to be honest... she's new enough to the Hollywood side of the industry that it would be unlikely that she'd have the negotiating power for those kinds of demands in her contract.

Exactly so saying she's a show off for doing her job well is pointless

Well, people make a lot of pointless comments. People don't care for the character, and they see it as a reflection on the actress. Arguing with them isn't going to make them like her any more.

That's funny about not liking Lea Michele's voice because I just decided that I will listen to anything if she sings it. I will now listen to covers of Jordin Sparks' No Air and Rihanna's Take a Bow. That takes talent.

Okay, I actually am pretty amazed and somewhat in love with her voice. But I think I love it a lot more when she sings powerful Broadway songs like Don't Rain on My Parade as opposed to pop songs like My Life Would Suck Without You. I just feel like the pop songs make her sound too whiny and a little generic.

Okay so this might be pretty unpopular but here goes...

I didn't really like Whispering until I saw/heard Alexandra Socha sing it.

^ That is very unpopular with me. I'm sorry, but I didn't like it at all. I couldn't stand Socha's Wendla.

That's definitely unpopular. I only like Whispering as long as Socha isn't the one singing it.

Edit: If Phoebe sings it I don't like it either.

I don't agree about the Socha thing, but I understand what you're saying. I felt like that about Ilse's part in The Dark I Know Well. When I saw Jenna's Ilse, the moment she opened her mouth I suddenly understood every word in a new way.

I do too! It wasn't my favorite, but of all the Ilse's I've seen (Jenna, Lauren, Emma, Eryn, Steffi), I connected with Jenna's the most for some reason.
But another Ilse UO: I loved all of the above mentioned Ilse's.

I think what I liked about Jenna the most was her Ilse seemed like an teenager to me. Whenever she was onstage, you could see how angry/angsty she was. She wasn't all over the place.

I don't really think they were doing it full out. I mean random people were doing the solos. I think they were just having some fun not really caring. Though I really hated Jake's parts.

I don't think you should judge the tour cast based on that video. Several of them were probably drunk, and all of them were just having fun with it. I'm sure the song during an actual performance is at least somewhat better.
