And it's an Equity rule that you can't go on in a role unless you've had your put-in rehearsal, except in an emergency.

Ok. I think I got confused because I've heard it referred to as a "put-in" when they go on for the actual show as well. Thanks for the clarification.

I apologize, if this has already been asked and answered- I just can't find it anywhere...
What are the branches/leaves (whatever) that Ilse is holding during Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind?? And what is the significance??

On Broadway they were purple and white little daisy-ish flowers, and they were always fresh flowers. I think they were a variety of aster, to be honest.
On tour they are red and blue and fake, and every time I see them I think, "That's wrong." I know, of all the weird things to annoy me, right?

I was just watching the Ovation Network on TV and they showed a commercial for their "Free night of theater" which I guess starts October 15th. I'm confused cause it showed a picture of Lea and Jon in Spring Awakening -- anyone know why or if they're going to be showing something SA related??

http://www.vimeo.com/6684353freenightoftheater.net It doesn't sound to me like it's even something being broadcast on tv.

Moritz's socks fall down frequently, it's part of the character. I always assumed they just took the elastic out of the cuffs.

Moritz stomps his feet reaaaally hard during the first chorus of BOL, and that makes them fall. Sometimes they slip down though. But later he pulls them back up, they slip down again... And I'm pretty sure they're all wearing high socks.

I've noticed that Moritz's socks fall down, but both times I've seen the show only one fell down. Is that just a coincidence?

Liz is kidding. The one sock falling is symbolic.

^ I don't think Groff was there. I think it was just Johnny and Lauren from the cast.

I'm just curious to know if anyone ever heard the name "Margot B." associated with Spring Awakening. There was an article in my local paper today about her, and it mentioned that she had 9 callbacks for the show. I'm assuming that, had she been cast, it would have been in the tour. http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/ae/music/s_660046.html

Question: when Moritz tells the boys that he snuck into the headmaster's office and that he passed the middleterms, did he actually pass? Or did he change his grade to a passing one?

He actually passed, there weren't enough students that the professors would have been fooled. That's why they plot to fail him for the final.

Assholes.
Haha. That's what I figured, but I had this random memory today that I used to think he changed his grade. And then I couldn't remember which was true! lol.

This is going to sound like a joke, but it's not.
Is Gabby Garza still with the tour?
I'm completely serious, I never hear anything about her at all ever.

It was on the fanclub (fanclub.springawakening.com) but they went away after the show closed on Broadway.
