I haven't gotten around to double checking to see if I'm right but I remember seeing that the two of them were covers for Ilse. But again, I could be wrong.

Jess...out of the final cast...the only core cast members that were covers were Matt for Melchior, Andrew for Moritz (though he never went on), and Emily for Wendla (again, she never went on). The ensemble and swings were also covers obviously. The only person who was one then had it taken away was Gabe. He originally signed on to understudy Moritz, but they didn't need four covers, so they removed him from the job.

I don't know that it's accurate to say that Gabe had it "taken away"... I think they put the option of having both Andrew and Gabe be Moritz u/s in their contracts (because Equity rules require that u/s roles be specified in your contract), but even on his first night in the show Gabe said that he wasn't going to be a Moritz u/s. I think they just wanted to leave their options open back when the contracts were signed, which caused the confusion.

Which dress does Wendla wear during SOPS: The white one or the blue one? Or has that changed during the production's history?

karebear88 is correct, they changed it at some point after the show had been on Broadway for a while. I don't remember exactly when.

Wendla's blue dress didn't exist in the off-Broadway production, right?

^No.
Okay so I double checked my playbill and I was wrong. I didn't think I was right but for some reason I thought I saw that.
Question: Did Krysta ever go on for Thea?

So wouldn't that make her the first swing to go on for every female part, not Krystina?

The thing with Krystina is that she covered both onstage chairs, so she was the first she to go on for legitimately every female role in the show (besides The Adult Women of course.)

ok so i saw the show 5 times last week and there was something bothering me and i couldnt figure out why it was happening... during AND THEN THERE WERE NONE the amount of dialog heard by the adult woman changed every time, sometimes she got all of it out others she was cut off by the band and you would miss important lines like "take your own life".. i just dont understand why sometimes its cut off and others its not...its probably a stupid question but ya

It depends on how fast she says it, it's all based around the music cues, when the music cues Moritz in, the Adult Woman can't be heard continuing her lines, I'm not sure if they turn her mic off or she just starts mouthing the words, though.
But, yeah, it's just based on the music cues and how fast she is able to say her lines.

They turn off her mic, but she does keep talking, if I'm not mistaken. I think you can hear Angela at least if you're onstage or really close in the orchestra.
I've never entirely understood the Mirror-Blue Night choreography, but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to represent Melchior's inner anguish at what he's done to Wendla. He's very upset with himself and generally angsty.

This thread is really for questions that don't have any other place to go, discussion of the choreography should be in the Content section, where there is already plenty of talk about it.

When the tour ends on May, would Matt Shingledecker be the cast member who's been part of "Spring Awakening" the longest?

He'll be the cast member at the end of the tour who's been with Spring Awakening the longest, yes.

I meant... let's see... out of the off-Broadway, Broadway, and tour runs, he would have the been there the longest... bypassing Gerard and Frances...?

Matt Shingledecker joined the Broadway company at the end of April 2008, and the tour is ending May 2010, so that's just over two years.
The Off-Broadway production started in June 2006 and Brian, Phoebe, Lili, Skylar, and Remy all left the Broadway production in July 2008, so that's roughly the same amount of time.
Gerard and Frances were part of the OBC, and started on Broadway in November 2006, and of course we know the show closed January 2009, so they had the longest continuous run with Spring Awakening over all.
Robi would be the cast member who has actually been involved with Spring Awakening the longest, from the opening of the Broadway production to the end of the tour, but obviously that wasn't continuous.
And of course, none of that takes into consideration any of the workshops and such, which is hard to track, and the people involved did other stuff in between.
