Oh. My. God.

It was my first time seeing the show, sadly enough. But it was sooooo amazing! So surreal, and even my mom liked it a lot. (She was dead set against going at first.)

The moment Christy started singing, I was just... entranced. One of my favorite Wendlas.

Blake Bashoff... no words to describe his awesomeness. Just... awesome!

Kyle Riabko was amazing - my mom loved him too! There was one minor flub in MBN, but he fixed it quickly.

Steffi D is phenomenal. Period. Such an amazing voice.

Gabby, Kimiko, and Sarah were all fantastic. During TF, Kimiko started doing the Thriller dance!

Andy Mientus is hysterical. And gorgeous. And amazing.

ShiShi was amazing! His bit during BoL was great!

Ben Moss was Ernst, I believe (my program is upstairs and I'm too lazy to get it) ... He was great. He and Andy were just so perfect in the WoYB reprise!

Just overall an amazing night. So much energy, so much talent, just... out of this world. If I forgot anybody, let me know and I'll add them to my review. Now off to post stage door experience!

Edit: I forgot... the beating scene was not that horrible. But what really pissed me off was the fact that the people sitting behind me were laughing the whole time. Seriously. No one but them. How rude. And then someone's phone - across the theater from me, mind you - goes off during Left Behind. Through my tears, I was all "WTF?"

My thoughts exactly on the tour cast. I love them all so much!

We had people laughing at the beating scene too when I saw it and I was just shocked at how rude and immature people were being. And I hate cell phones. They go off at the most inappropiate times (but the world would be lost without them!). It sucks.

And I'm glad your mom liked it. I took my dad and he loved it as well! I was completely shocked. He now has the CD on his iPod. Great review!!!

I was also at this performance, i was a tad late though, so i missed everything up to and including Bitch Of Living. But it was a fabulous show! Everyone did a phenomenal job. I didn't get to stay and meet everyone at the stage door though, i was very disappointed. I also heard the cell phone go off, and people laughing. So immature!
