1. My friend's dad coreographed all the fight scenes (pretty much any scene involving violence if i understand correctly)
2. Gideon worked at my summer camp
(this doesn't really count but I saw Gerard in a show at the Papermill Playhouse when he was like 11)

When I was in HS, all my friends went to Skylar's HS and were/are friends with him. I saw him in their production of 'Bye Bye Birdie' because my good friend at the time was Hugo Peabody Hahaha. who was skylar? & my friend in my theater group some how knows skylar Albert, I think. It was a long time ago. Haha. |

Okay, I have two, but they're kind of random, so bear with me.
My dad is a basketball coach, and one of his former players/a former babysitter of mine is married to a good friend of Tom Cavanagh of "Ed" and the short-lived show "Love Monkey" (he was even the Best Man at their wedding), and Johnny Gallagher appeared in 2 episodes of "Love Monkey" and 1 episode of "Ed". So, yea it's a roundabout way, but still within 6 degrees lol.
Also, a good friend of mine is from the same town as Skylar, and he says they played in the same basketball league (different teams so they played against each other) in like 6th or 7th grade, and Skylar was friends with some of the guys on his team. Also, in his 8th grade yearbook, under Not Pictured, Skylar Lipstein is listed, so I know he's not just lying to me because he knows I'm a SA fan lol.

Now, according to the "rules" as I understand them, the six degrees can't be who went to whose camp or school UNLESS you know someone who knows that person from that school or camp. Clear as mud, yeah, no prob. BTW, Skylar Lipstein is the most awful name! Sorry, I just had to say that. |

I have some degrees of separation........I think. If you can follow this, rock on! Here we go: I worked at a summer theater the summer of '05 with someone who worked there the summers of '04 and '05. Well, Johnny's first stage kiss partner worked there the summer of '04. She came up to visit the summer of '05 and stayed in an apartment near me and we went tubing down a river together. So, I am linked to her (through a mutual friend) who is linked to Johnny. Did you get that all? lol.
That was actually a topic that I had brought up to Johnny when I first met him at SD and we got in this long convo about how we are linked together though a mutual friend.

Skylar knows some of my friends that I went to high school with (he dated one of them...pre lauren and went to hebrew school with another)
Robi and I have friends in common.
Random but my best friend's cousin was Blake B's girlfriend on Lost.

Haha, this thread makes me laugh. But, I'll indulge...
One of my closest friends grew up with (and has been in love with since like 3rd grade) JGalls' cousin. I actually talked to his cousin on new years and was like, "I have a huge poster of your cousin on my wall" and he was like, "You have no idea how weird that is..." But he secretly loves it.
Annnnnd...I caught up with a good friend of mine from high school over winter break who is a junior at NYU. We were talking and he was like, "So, I know you're a huge Spring Awakening fan and I thought you'd want to know something. You know that guy with the weird hair?" And I said, "Skylar?" and he was like, "Yea! Skylar! Anyway, when we were both freshman at NYU we would hang out all the time with mutual friends. But then Spring Awakening happened and he got all famous and stopped hanging out with us." And I just laughed because it's Skylar. Yup. That's mine.

OK. My mom used to work with someone who was friends with someone who was roommates with someone who was roommates with Jonathan Larson. ERGO I am connected to the entire original cast of Rent... and my old English teacher's best friend's son is Stephen Schwartz's personal assistant, ERGO I am connected to the entire cast of Wicked... ERGO if I really sat here and tried hard enough I would be some number of steps away from everyone on Broadway and a lot of people in Hollywood.
Even though that's not directly SA, I love those connection chains.
Oh. And I know a kid who claims to be family friends with Ben Vereen... which also connects me to a bunch of Broadway people, if it's true.
