Everybody is dying for John Mayer's Syphillis

I don't know either, but I am typing on a Sony Vaio, and my boyfriend has an HP. We are sitting in the same house using the same wireless service. So there you are. But whatever... I just thought I'd chime in because you guys were beating up on Chris (solidtru) so bad, and he and I went to the Friday show and were disappointed. So there you go.... I think Kyle is earnest, has a great voice, but let's just say that I agree he needs wotk as a thespian.

I'm not calling you a liar at all. But I could say that I'm sitting on Mars typing on a cloud computer using the same wireless service as Barbara Streisand. That doesn't make it true.

...Just saying.

If you have 5 computers in your house and one internet connection, all five of those computers will have the same IP address. Just so everyone knows.

Wait...who said we were beating up on your boyfriend for not liking Kyle? We were just having a friendly debate, is that a crime?

I liked Kyles performance and it had NOTHING to do with the way he looks. And I have something else to say about that but I won't.

BTW solidtru/Campbell I wouldn't assume things about ppl. I was actually at this performance so yeah.

I don't know much about computers and stuff, but I think if you were on different computers, you would have two different IP addresses.
My comp, my friends comp and her laptop all have the same IP addresses. That being said...well nvm.

The Girl Who Fixed The Chair

« Reply #55 on: May 26, 2008, 02:35:29 AM »

Are we seriously having this discussion based on Kyle's THREE DAYS performing the role?

Oh my god, he wasn't perfect straight out of the box? SPRING AWAKENING IS DOOMED!

Can we give the kid a chance to settle into the role? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that even our beloved OBC had some rough times when they were just starting out with the show at ATC.

And I am so tired of people whining about "Stunt Casting" when mostly, they've cast people that the majority of people have NEVER HEARD OF. Blake Bashoff is not exactly a household name. Kyle Riabko certainly isn't, either. Just because they've actually, oh, had a professional job before, it is not the same as stunt casting.

that being said: they are both still entitled to their opinion and have every right to dislike Kyle.

I'm glad I'll have a chance to see him in a few weeks and make my own mind up.

But I do agree:  NOT stunt casting.  90% of us went LOOKING for YouTube on Kyle once we knew he was definitely getting the role.  We'd never heard of him.

Zach Effron as Melchi (whether he could pull it off or not) would be stunt casting. {shudder}
