Thank you but they told my mom that it's the shows fault, not the theater.

I'm sure they did. But the simple fact is, the requirements have been different at every tour stop.

Yeah, the theatre is who makes those rules.  When I bought my stage seats I didn't have to sign anything.

That's still seriously the weirdest thing I have ever heard. I've never had to sign something to see SA onstage!

Thanks Layla. I got audience tickets today so I'm now okay with it.

Melchioritz: I've never heard of it either.

We didn't have to sign here, but friend who saw the show somewhere in CA said they had to sign for their tickets too.

I didn't need to sign for my Rochester stage seats, but I did need to buy them in person.

Kansas City sold them on TicketMaster, and handled them exactly like they did any other tickets. It was quite convenient.

Mine were $25 each with a $5 service charge for buying them over the phone. I don't think there's an extra charge if you buy them at the theatre.

yeah I think $25-40 is standard, with most being $20-30. But it really depends on the theatre. Everything is more expensive at the Kennedy Center, so they could get away with charging more for stage seats there.

I just went to ticketmaster to see if stage seating was on there for Detroit and it was but it keeps saying that they can't find my request? I then called a lady at the theater who said stage seats can only be purchased the day of at the theater..? I'm thinking she's wrong, but does anyone know anything about either of these two mishaps? Maybe stage seats are already sold out? I wouldn't think they would be for Detroit. I just never thought of Detroit as being a big popular area for broadway shows.

A lot of theatres don't sell stage seats through Ticketmaster. Many have policies where you have to order them over the phone and/or in person--in Baltimore, you could only buy them at the physical box office. Purchasing the day of seems like a really bad idea for them. I'd try calling again or showing up at the box office if you can.

Caityyo, check out the Detroit thread.  I talked to the box office a few weeks ago and they gave me some information.

you don't get too much cast action, although you're right next to the ladder so you have andy/jake climbing up at various times, and also matt/anthony/sarah sit on the steps next to you. you're across the aisle from steffi, andy, ben, taylor, and kimiko throughout the show too Smiley

i was just curious, do you guys recommend sitting in bb6 or bb8? i'm leaning towards bb8, because it sounds like quite a bit of cast members sit on the steps and in bb10. however, how is the view from bb8? is it much different from bb6?

thanks!

The view is almost identical, I'd go with BB8.
